It's been a minute, but we've been heads down building something big.
📊 Trends: A brand new way to see your progress over time.
Until now, Calorik's been about the day in front of you: what you've eaten, how it lines up with your goals, what to do next. The food log is great at telling you the short-term story. But it doesn't tell you the longer one—where you've been, where you're headed, and whether you're actually on track. That's what Trends is all about.
The new Trends view has three sections:
Streak & Consistency: your current logging streak alongside how steadily you're showing up overall. Logging consistency is the single best predictor of progress, so we wanted to make it visible.
Nutrition Trends: averages and patterns across calories and macros over time. See whether your day-to-day swings are smoothing out into the targets you actually want to hit.
Weight Trend: your weight over time, with goal projections. Useful for cutting through daily noise and seeing the real direction.
Each section can be filtered by five different time periods, so you can zoom in on this week or zoom out on the whole year. Each section also has an info button that explains exactly how it works.
The smaller stuff worth calling out:
🍩 Improved Ring Charts: Your goal rings now display overlap clearly when you go over a target. Also, tap any ring to flip between actual values and percentage complete.
📷 Streamlined Camera and Expanded Nutrition (out of beta): We've graduated both features so they're now available to everyone. Faster meal logging, deeper nutrient tracking.
⚡ Speed: A bunch of behind-the-scenes performance work. The app should feel snappier across the board.
